Life's Quiet Moments

Colour holds a powerful fascination for me. The attempt to transfer the brilliance and force of what I see onto the canvas — that attempt mostly ends in disappointment. And yet it pulls me back, every time, to the next canvas, the next try.

Sensuality has always been my language: through movement, through music, through touch. Painting is simply the latest form of that same conversation.

I have no fear of the blank canvas. What I fear is running out of them — and not getting it right before the next one is ready.

Colour

Its brilliance and force are what started everything. Nature holds colour combinations so surprising, so harmonious, I go outside just to find them.

Experiment

Every painting is a journey whose end I cannot predict. That uncertainty is not something I endure — it is the very thing that keeps me painting.

Sensuality

As music reaches us through sound, as flavour through taste — oil paint speaks through the eye. For me, painting is pure sensory experience.

I want the journey to stay exciting.
